1. Who we are

VivPic ("VivPic", "we", "us") is a camera app that captures 5-second silent looping clips instead of static photos. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and waitlist, and how we use it.

2. Your clips and photos

We never see, receive, or store your clips. VivPic is designed so that everything you capture is processed entirely on your own device:

• The camera feed, recording, GIF conversion, and your clip library all run locally in your browser.
• Your clips are never uploaded to our servers or any cloud storage. We have no access to them and no copy of them exists anywhere other than your device.
• Deleting a clip from your VivPic library removes it permanently — there is nothing on our side to recover or retain.
• When you share a clip, it goes directly from your device to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp or Instagram). It does not pass through us.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Waitlist signups: when you join our waitlist we collect your name, phone number, and email address.
• Contact: if you email us, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
• Anonymous usage events (for example, that a clip was captured or shared). These events contain no images, no videos, and no clip content of any kind — only the fact that an action happened.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

4. How we use your information

• To add you to the VivPic waitlist and notify you at launch.
• To send occasional product updates you have asked to receive (you can opt out at any time).
• To respond to your questions and provide support.
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. How we store and protect it

Waitlist data is stored in our hosted database with access controls and encryption in transit. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it.

6. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to host our website and database. They process data only on our instructions and are bound by their own security and privacy obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@vivpic.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use strictly necessary storage for security and basic functionality.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above. For significant changes we will notify waitlist members by email.
